おじさんのくに

　わたしのおじさんは九十三さいで、とても元気です。おじいさん とおばあさんはリンヤ けんの高い山の中にすんでいます。天気がいい時、おじいさんははたけにいきます。はたけに、りんごと野菜がありますから、おじいさんははたけからたべものおもってきます。わたしはおじいさんのうちがとても好きですから、『おじいさんの王国』とよhでいます。天気がいい時、山はきれいです。ふゆはゆきがふって、しろくなります。夏も山のまえにゆきがあぃます。ゆきはおじいさんのくにのおうかんのようにうつくしいです。わたしは毎日午後うちのまえでおじいさんおまちます。
　一九九七年八月の夏休みのことです。わたしはおじいさんおうちのまえで、いつものとうに待ってました。天気は良かったですから、おじいさんは山にのぼりました。そして、おじいさんはおもちやを持ってきました。おじいさんは『わたしは象のおもちやみつけました』と言いました。このおのちやは青い象でした。この象はおじいさんのくにの思いでです。わたしはとこへいくと、いつも象をとります。

先週はとても忙しかったです。

先週末は私のともたちの誕生日ですから、ボストンへいきました。電車にのって、バースを乗りかえました。木曜日に、ともたちとさくらレストランへ食べにいきました。天ぷらは一番りょりです。週末は忙しかったですが、おもしるがたです。

Why I take Japanese?

There are a lot of reasons make me to take First Year In Japanese. Japanese culture attracts me a lot, no matter it is ancient Japanese culture or modern Japanese culture. I am watching Japanese movies recently. I hope that I can understand some of the lyrics in movies. In the future, I want to visit Japan to experiment more, such as food, music, etc. The most important reason that makes me to take Japanese is that I really like the way that Japanese people deal with things. They are very organized and patient. I think to learn the spirit of Japanese(now is Tsuda sensei) is very helpful and meaningful for me to go on. It is very excited to start a new language. The difficultly for me during the first few weeks is that I can not read Hiragana very quick. I will practice more in the future. Now I start to understand the way to learn Japanese. I hope I can do well in this class and to have a great start on my way to learn Japanese.
